Baldwinsville eighth-grader Evan Burmeister recorded his third book with renowned local children’s author, Bruce Coville. The short story, “I, Earthling,” was recorded by Full Cast Audio on January 20.
Burmeister previously recorded Coville’s “My Teacher is an Alien” and “My Teacher Fried My Brains!” in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
Burmeister has performed in numerous theater performances locally since 2011, most recently in Durgee Jr. High’s production of “The Little Mermaid.” He will be performing in Baker’s upcoming “Peter Pan” as Lost Boy Curly, March 9 and 10.
He also dances competitively with River Rhythms Dance Studio in Baldwinsville under the direction of Kristyn Ewald.
Bruce Coville has been writing stories for kids for over 40 years. In that time he’s published over 100 books, including “My Teacher is an Alien,” “Into the Land of Unicorns” and “Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher.” In March, Coville’s book “Aliens Ate My Homework,” will be launched as a movie featuring William Shatner.
Full Cast Audio, founded by Coville, produces unabridged recordings of fine children’s novels using a full cast rather than a single reader.
