The 12th Shining Stars celebration at Menorah Park celebration is set for 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 “under the tent” at Menorah Park, 4101 East Genesee Street, Dewitt. The celebration coincides with Older Americans’ Month.
“This celebration recognizes those employees, volunteers, and residents that are known to ‘shine brightly’ on the Menorah Park campus,” said Steven Sisskind, event co-chair. “My wife Robin and I are honored to announce nine very special individuals who bring their vitality, their generosity and their compassion to all of us affiliated with Menorah Park.”
The 2017 honorees are:
•Lee Cagwin — Jewish Home OT/PT Department, volunteer.
•Latoya Clarke-Lydford — Jewish Home CNA.
•Vicki Curry — Menorah Park, housekeeping.
•David Elias — Jewish Home & SJFS, volunteer.
•Ronda Hegeman — The Oaks at Menorah Park, resident.
•Kim Joyce — Welcome Center at Menorah Park, receptionist.
•Eleanor Munzel — The Inn at Menorah Park, resident.
•Michael Sagar — The Inn at Menorah Park, resident.
•Samantha Villareal — Jewish Home CNA.
