Five area students have been selected as scholar-athletes by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC). The students, who all attended Morrisville State College for the 2015-16 academic year, achieved a grade point average of 3.40 or higher for the fall and spring semesters combined while participating in a NEAC sponsored sport.
“I want to express my appreciation to all those individuals who have contributed to the academic success demonstrated by our student athletes, including the athletes themselves,” said Greg Carroll, Morrisville director of athletics. “Each year we challenge them to achieve more, succeed more, and contribute more; and they continue to respond positively.”
The following student-athletes at Morrisville State received scholar-athlete recognition:
- Paige Biviano, of Cazenovia, who participates in cross country and majors in journalism and communication for online media.
