SKANEATELES — Sixty Skaneateles High School students were recently inducted into the National Honor Society based on their outstanding scholarship, leadership, service and character. As they crossed the stage, inductees were congratulated by High School principal Greg Santoro, current NHS members, and NHS advisor Mary Lou Ingram.
After all inductees were seated on the stage, they recited the NHS pledge:
“I pledge to maintain my high scholastic standing, to hold as fundamental and worthy an untarnished character, to endeavor intelligently and courageously to be a leader, and to give myself freely to others. So doing, I shall prove myself worthy of a place in the National Honor Society.”
