Rifle: On Saturday, November. 28, 2020, at 0900, three rifle shooters met at our range to fire the regular weekly rifle match. The temperature was 41 and 81% humidity with gray overcast skies and no wind or breeze. It was 42 with 75% humidity by the end. Course of fire is 10 shots slow fire prone, 10 shots rapid fire prone, 10 shots slow fire standing.
The following fired rifles that are used in the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) course of fire and are in the medal score category: High Score was Dave Spearing. He had a CMP bronze medal score. He fired a .308 cal. M1A and scored 97-2X’s+95-2X’s+82=274-4X’s. Mark Walker fired a .30 cal. M1 Garand and scored 84-1X+69+36=189-1X.
The following fired other rifles with scopes: High Score was Chuck Cargile. He fired a .17 cal. Rimfire with a scope and scored 100-8X’s+100-7X’s+75=275-15X’s.

The temperature was 42 and 74% humidity with gray overcast skies and no wind or breeze. It was 42 with 70% humidity by the end. Course of fire is 10 shots slow fire prone, 10 shots rapid fire prone, 10 shots slow fire standing.
The following fired rifles that are used in the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) course of fire and are in the medal score category: High Score was Dave Spearing. He had a CMP gold medal score.
He fired a .30 cal. US M1903 and scored 97-2X’s+98-3X’s+87-2X’s=282-7X’s.
The following fired other rifles with open sights: High Score was Mark Walker. He fired a .223 Cal. and scored 95-1X+90-3X’s+83=268-4X’s. Joe Dwyer fired a .223 Cal. and scored 92+93-2X’s+76=261-2X’s.

Rifle: On Saturday, November. 14, 2020, at 0900, five rifle shooters met at our range to fire the regular weekly rifle match. The temperature was 39 and 75% humidity with gray overcast skies and a very light breeze. It was 40 with 72% humidity by the end. Course of fire is 10 shots slow fire prone, 10 shots rapid fire prone, 10 shots slow fire standing.
The following fired rifles that are used in the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) course of fire and are in the medal score category: High Score was Mark Walker. He fired a .30 cal. M1 Garand and scored 82+81+62=225. Mike Gentile tried to fire a 6.5X52 M91 Italian Carcano, but had problems on the 4th shot and was unable to finish.
The following fired other rifles with open sights: High Score was Dave Spearing. He fired a .22 cal. Rimfire Kingston Armory M1 Garand and scored 94-2X’s+97-4X’s+84-1X=275-7X’s. Chuck Chernoff fired a .22 Cal. Rimfire and scored 70+90-1X+82=242-1X.
The following fired other rifles with scopes: High Score was Chuck Cargile. He fired a .17 cal. Hornet with a scope and scored 100-8X’s+100-5X’s+58=258-13X’s. Jay Bethel fired a .22 cal. Rimfire with a scope and scored 99-6X’s+99-2X’s+56=254-8X’s.
