Marcellus student achieves master technician status

Marcellus senior Quinn Clarke, enrolled in the outdoor powersports equipment program at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, has passed six Briggs and Stratton Master Service Technician exams to achieve Master Technician status.

Clarke has worked diligently since the shutdown to achieve his goal.
The exams covered theory and general knowledge, diagnostics and troubleshooting, engine systems, fuel systems – carburetor and electronic fuel injection, failure analysis and warranty decisions, products – pressure washers and portable generators. The exams are all considered quite rigorous.
