With everything going on in the world, how is it possible to not be anxious? Adam Hamilton, well-known author and Senior Pastor at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Kansas City, Missouri reminds us that in Scripture we are told, “Do not be afraid.”
In this five-week study based on Hamilton’s book “Unafraid,” we will explore the worries and fears most of us experience; and learn to identify fears and discover practical steps for overcoming them.
Through the light found in scripture and faith we can live with courage and hope.
The class sessions will include a 15-20 minute DVD presentation featuring the author, Adam Hamilton, and lively discussion based on the video and the book, “Unafraid.”
This study begins Thursday evening, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. and continues until Thursday, March 26 at the Skaneateles United Methodist Church, 26 Jordan St.
The class leader is Anne Lee. All adults in the community are welcome to attend. To reserve a copy of the book and a place in class, please call the church office at 315-685-5963 weekdays 9 to 1 p.m.
