Reger for town board
To the editor:
I am writing to encourage Town of Cazenovia voters to go to the polls November 5 and vote for Kyle Reger for town board. As a community, we are so fortunate to have a choice among outstanding candidates. Kyle Reger stands out in deserving your support. I have known Kyle and his wonderful family for many years and have had the pleasure of serving with him as a member of St. James Pastoral council. I can attest to his leadership skills in challenging times. His diligence, great communication skills, and collaborative approach to problem solving are exceptional and will serve the residents of our town tremendously.
I have also had the pleasure of working with Kyle in his professional capacity and have witnessed first hand his work ethic, attention to detail and a unique ability to seek out and implement “win-win” solutions to difficult problems. Kyle‘s ability to listen and incorporate points of view from multiple stakeholders allows him to get things done in a way that will serve our community so well as we face difficult and sometimes contentious issues.
My experience has been that there are 2 types of people- 1) people that respect and admire Kyle Reger and 2) people that haven’t met him yet. If Kyle happens to knock on your door sometime over the next few weeks as he is out campaigning, do yourself a favor and take the time to meet him, listen and ask a few questions. You will not be disappointed.
Please join me in supporting Kyle Reger for Town Board on November 5th.

Vote for Laubscher
To the editor:
I am writing to ask the voters of the Town of Nelson to elect John Laubscher to another term as a town councilor.
I have known John for many years. He is an outstanding asset to the Town of Nelson. John and his wife Anne along with their three children (two of which now own homes and are raising families in the town) moved to Nelson Heights Road in 1991. John’s dedication to the Town of Nelson and the people of Nelson as a member of the town government over the past twelve years, serving on the Town Planning Board and more recently as a member of the Town Board, while exhibiting common sense and utilizing his experience with budget planning and other aspects of management.
John is now the board liaison to the Town Highway Department and was instrumental in developing an equipment procurement plan. John co-chaired the updating of the Town Comprehensive Plan while surveying the public for their input! John and his family have operated a successful business in Nelson and also operated Cedar View Farm on Nelson Heights Road for the past thirty years.
As a resident who attends virtually all town board meetings, I urge you to re-elect John on Nov. 5.

Cunningham for supervisor
To the editor:
I have done my due diligence, and met with both candidates running for Nelson Supervisor. They are both fine gentlemen. However, when it comes time to vote I have to support the candidate who has a vision for the future; whom I believe will do the best job. I am writing to endorse Jim Cunningham for Supervisor. In addition to his educational background and many years of community volunteer service; Cunningham’s love for the Town of Nelson will keep our community safe. Furthermore, the election of Mr. Cunningham will allow our infrastructure to be up to date, and our town a desirable place to live and work.

Support for Golub
To the editor:
Please join me in voting for Jimmy Golub to continue serving as a councilor on the Cazenovia Town Board. Here are just a few reasons that I believe he has been and will remain an excellent spokesman for all residents of this area.
Jimmy is a respected, educated representative of the farming community and understands the needs of our rural residents.
Having installed and experienced eight years of environmentally positive solar energy and its financial rewards on his property, he is qualified and able to advise our region’s access to a solar project that could save us thousands of dollars in years to come.
With Jimmy’s interest in preservation and architecture, he is eager to be involved in the restoration of the Gothic Cottage, our Town Hall.
An avid kayaker, Jimmy helps monitor the health of our greatest asset – Cazenovia Lake.
Vote for Jimmy Golub.
