Enchanted trails at Baltimore Woods lead to Fairy Festival
On Saturday, Oct. 12, from noon to 4 p.m., families in search of a fun, fall activity are in for a real treat (and maybe a few troll tricks) at Baltimore Woods Nature Center’s fifth annual Autumnal Fairy Festival.
The Autumnal Fairy Festival featuring a labyrinth maze, fairy house building, wand crafting, storytelling by the Fairy Queen, wishing trees, face painting, games, food, a costume parade, dancing to sounds of the Merry Mischief band and Bells & Motley, and enchanted trails complete with a scavenger hunt, trail-side potion-making, and encounters with live trolls, wood elves, and fairies along the way.
The staff at Baltimore Woods invites the community to participate in a fall outdoor experience that is fun for all ages. Costumes are encouraged, and imagination is a must.
Baltimore Woods is located at 4007 Bishop Hill Road, Marcellus.
The cost is $10 for members; $15 for public.
Visit baltimorewoods.org to register in advance. Tickets will also be available at the registration table on event day.
