Are you curious about all the weeds in the Cazenovia Lake? Have questions about lakeside development? What are the plans for managing the lake? The answers to these and many other lake issues will be discussed at the 2017 Cazenovia Lake Summit. The Summit is an opportunity for the entire community to learn more the lake and to have a say in its future management. The summit will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Cazenovia Village Hall and is open to the public.
The Cazenovia Lake Watershed Council and the Cazenovia Lake Association jointly worked to put together a slate of interesting topics and informed speakers. This year’s guest speakers include Scott Kishbaugh from the NYS DEC, Bob Johnson from Racine-Johnson Aquatic Ecologists with the annual lake vegetation report and Don Ferlow speaking about responsible lakeside development. At the end of the summit, there will a panel discussion.
