An avid lacrosse player and active community volunteer, Rachel Kline is this week’s Liverpool High School Senior of the Week.
Rachel is a member of the Liverpool Girls Lacrosse organization. She volunteers with the Liverpool Youth Lacrosse Association. She’s also a U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American, and she was named to the Second Team All-League CNYCL Midfield.
In addition to lacrosse, Rachel enjoys running, photography, reading, piano, poetry and listening to music. Her favorite classes are math and chemistry, and she hopes to be an orthopedic physician. At LHS, she’s a member of the National Honor Society, Varsity Club and I Am Norm Leadership Core. She volunteers with Pope John XXIII Church.
Rachel has won numerous academic accolades. She is the recipient of the Wellesley College Book Award, the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Mayflower Compact Award and Excellence in Chemistry and Spanish SUNY 201 awards.
Rachel said that her parents, Richard and Deborah Kline, have had the biggest influence on her life.
“[They] have provided me with encouragement and support over the years,” she said. “They inspire me to reach my full potential in every aspect of my life.”
