Cazenovia village police arrested three teenagers for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia after being alerted to suspicious activity in the McDonalds parking lot on Aug. 9.
The three teens walked into McDonalds at the Tops plaza smelling of marijuana, and were observed smoking a pipe in a parked Chevy Malibu in the parking lot by a McDonalds employee, according to a police report. Village police followed the teens out of the parking lot and pulled them over on Farnham Street for having an obstructed view and items hanging from the rearview mirror. A search of the vehicle uncovered a glass smoking pipe, a clear Ziploc bag containing marijuana and a metallic grinder used for marijuana.
Andrew J. Sparks, 18, address not available, and two 17-year-old Cazenovia males were all arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana and given appearance tickets for Cazenovia Village Court for Sept. 4.
