PEACE, Inc. recently reached out to the Baldwinsville Central School District to participate in a Fall Frenzy Food Drive.
Terri Liedka, a social worker at Reynolds Elementary, responded. She contacted the Baldwinsville Teacher’s Association, which took quick action, donating approximately $750 worth of non-perishable food donations to the County West Family Resource Center food pantry, which is a part of PEACE, Inc.
“The Fall Frenzy Food Drive was a huge success,” said Joanne Wynings, PEACE Coordinator. “This gave the food pantry a huge boost. We couldn’t be more grateful.”
Food donations were collected on Oct. 9 at Baker High School then brought to the CWFRC, which is located at 93 Syracuse St. in Baldwinsville.
“We would like to thank everyone who made donations to our food pantry. Much of our center relies on community support. Certainly much support was received,” Wynings said.
