This Friday and Saturday marks the third annual Alumni Weekend in Baldwinsville.
Celebrated the first weekend in August, Alumni Weekend is designed to bring alumni and the greater community together.
“Alumni Weekend is all about cherishing life with old friends, embracing the community that helped foster who we have all become, and beginning a renewed dedication to life-long friendships,” said Carrie McNish, a member of the C.W. Baker High School Alumni Association, which is responsible for organizing Baldwinsville’s Alumni Weekend.
This year, the association has planned a music-filled day beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, on Paper Mill Island with performances from the following bands: Ryan Montbleau Band, Big Eyed Phish (Dave Matthews Band Tribute), Dark Hollow (Grateful Dead Tribute), Steep and The Boatmen. Advanced sale tickets are $10 (children are free) and are available at papermillisland.com; tickets will be available at the door, but may cost more.
“Come spend a weekend in Baldwinsville with old friends and enjoy all that B’ville has to offer,” McNish said.
