The 65-year-old man who drowned while canoeing on Cazenovia Lake yesterday has been identified as Arthur Morris III, of Manlius.
Madison County Sheriff’s deputies said Morris was fishing in a canoe about 100 feet from shore when he somehow ended up in the water. The cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy.
Sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate this incident.
