A Minoa man was critically injured in a motorcycle accident Friday afternoon in Kirkville.
David Irwin, 67, was ejected from his motorcycle on Poolsbrook Road in the town of Manlius. Police say the motorcycle left the roadway, entered a steep ditch and Irwin was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was transported to Upstate University Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police say his injuries are potentially life-threatening.
Police were working to reconstruct the accident scene and are continuing their investigation into why Irwin’s motorcycle left the road.
