Heading north along Route 48 into Baldwinsville, travelers will notice the new façade of Evans Chevrolet.
The dealership recently received a facelift, brightening up the south end of the village.
“The response has been overwhelmingly positive,” said owner Mark Evans. “A lot of people have been stopping by and taking pictures.”
And the exterior renovations are just the beginning of changes being made at the facility.
“With the resurgence of Chevrolet and GM, and in honor of our 90th year in business, we thought it was time to update the facility,” Evans said. “Every square inch of the dealership that the customer comes into contact with will be completely remodeled by the spring of 2012.”
Nearly 20 years have passed since the facility was last remodeled in 1995, and the modifications aren’t only cosmetic. According to Evans, the renovations are designed to make it easier for customers to do business with the dealership, which has been in the same location since 1922.
Improvements will include an expanded and completely refurbished customer waiting area; a covered service entrance and carport; air-conditioned service department; and a completely remodeled showroom with new entrance and expanded parking.
Evans Chevrolet is located at 112 Syracuse St. in the village of Baldwinsville. For more information, call 352-4031 or visit evanschevy.com.
