Syracuse’s only New Year’s Eve ball drop will be sponsored by 40 Below as the organization rings in 2011.
Their first ever New Year’s Eve party, the 40 BeLow-Out, will kick off at 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Landmark Theatre and end at 2 a.m.
The night will feature an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and a popular Syracuse-native musician, Joe Driscoll. Other features include a silent auction, saxophone player James “Hollywood” Moore and master-spinner, DJ Afar.
“Forty Below has been working tirelessly to put this together,” said Stephanie Crockett, steering committee chair. “We’re looking forward to celebrating with the community at a fun, reasonably-priced event that showcases what’s wonderful about our city and what 40 Below has in store for the coming year.”
Tickets for the event are being sold at $90 online.
