The Skaneateles Press will be the official newspaper for the town of Skaneateles during the 2012 year, the town board voted at its Dec. 22 meeting.
This will be a return to official town newspaper status for the Press after a four-year hiatus. The paper lost its official status in 2008 and for the next three years.
The town board unanimously agreed on the return to the Press during its vote on the 2012 resolution for appointments and salaries.
