The annual Shop with a Cop will be held this weekend, Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Fayetteville Target.
The Manlius and DeWitt Police Department Benevolent Associations are sponsoring the annual event starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
The event works to give a group of underprivileged children a chance to buy gifts for their family members using gift cards sponsored by sponsors.
The children, from Fayetteville-Manlius, Jamesville-DeWitt and East Syracuse-Minoa schools, will be paired up with officers from Manlius and DeWitt, as well as Target executives.
Target will be providing snacks for the children, as well as supplies to wrap their gifts before they leave.
