Town of Marcellus districts report

All of the districts in the town of Marcellus are reporting with final vote counts. The following results have been reported for unopposed positions in the town of Marcellus.

Daniel Ross will continue as Town Supervisor, earning 990 votes in tonight’s ballot. Four ballots were cast with write-in candidates.

Karen Pollard will continue to serve as Town Clerk, with 1,186 votes.

Mathew Moses will be serving as Town Justice with 1,014 votes, alongside the incumbent candidate, Mary Reagen Daily who earned 1,080 votes.

Donald MacLachlan continues as Highway Superintendent with 1,116 votes.

Elaine Potter will continue her service as Tax Collector with 1,181 votes.

In the contested Marcellus Town Councilor race, Peter Hakes took one seat with 812 votes. Mary Jo Paul took the other seat with 610 votes, edging out incumbent candidate Donald Sherman who earned 605 votes.

Results are unofficial until they are verified by the Onondaga County Board of Elections.
