The West Genesee Wildcats Marching Band placed second at the U.S. Scholastic Band Association gold competition in Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 8.
The Wildcats received a score of 88.375, just behind Hickory High School Marching Hawks, of Chesapeake, Va., which received 89.175 points.
The West Genesee Wildcats also took home the high music award.
