Summer must be over: the Erie Canal Museum is now accepting entries for its 26th Annual Gingerbread Gallery.
Bakers of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to submit their gingerbread creation for this year’s exhibition. Entries due by Friday, Nov. 4.
This year, the Erie Canal Museum challenges bakers to make Erie Canal-related gingerbread creations. Everything from Canal-era buildings, canal locks, boats, and scenes will be judged in a separate category for the chance to win a special prize.
The 26th Annual Gingerbread Gallery will be on display in the historic 1850 Syracuse Weighlock Building, home of the Erie Canal Museum, from Friday, Nov. 25, through Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012.
