West Genesee High School seniors Nathaniel Brusa, Cheyanne Fedder, Martin Leff and Alyssa Zeman have been named Commended Students in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program.
These students are among 34,000 of more than a million students who entered the Merit Program by earning high scores on the Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test taken in October of their junior year.
The students and their parents will be recognized at the board of education meeting on Nov. 2, where they will receive letters of commendation from board president Deborah Simon, superintendent of schools Dr. Christopher Brown and principal Dr. Barry Copeland.
