Research & Marketing Strategies (RMS) welcomes Sandy Baker to its staff as the director of business development.

In her position, Baker will not only focus on identifying new business opportunities but will also build community awareness of RMS and its services.
“If business leaders have a strategic and/or customer question and don’t know where to get the answers, I want them to think of and turn to RMS,” Baker said. “My vision for RMS is to excel not only within Central New York but nationally.”
“Every business has questions ranging from ‘Are my customers satisfied?’ to ‘Will this new product be successful?’ Ultimately, they need answers to these questions and RMS can help find these answers,” Baker continued. “Whether in Baldwinsville or California, in today’s society, everything is so mobile we can accomplish all of this from our local offices right here. We have the capability, intelligence and analytics to get the job done.”
Baker brings more than 25 years of marketing experience to the position including sales, communications, public speaking, strategic planning, government relations, business development and community outreach. Her former positions include director of sales and marketing for Richfield Hospitality at the Crowne Plaza in Syracuse and former vice president of sales and marketing at the Oncenter Complex. She also served as an Onondaga County Legislator and Village of Baldwinsville Trustee.
Baker resides in Baldwinsville with her husband, Mark. They have three adult children.
