Now you can go salsa dancing every Saturday night at Metro, in the Westcott Nation.
La Familia de la Salsa hosts a Latin dance from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. each and every Saturday at Metro Lounge & Cafe, 505 Westcott St., on the city’s East Side. DJ la Maquina mans the disc player spinning meringue, bachata, chachacha, reggaeton y timba tunes.
“You get to dance to the hottest dance music from around the world here at Syracuse’s chicest nightclub,” said la Familia spokesman Brian Bromka. “On May 14 we had 57 dancers there.”
Admission costs $5; for ages 21 and older only.
