A special use permit has been requested for the property at 85 East Genesee St. in Baldwinsville.
Byrne Dairy has proposed building a gas station at the former site of Wacky Wyatts (and current site of Liquor Express) and needs approval to install gas pumps at the site.
Village officials have referred the matter to the Syracuse Onondaga County Planning Association for further review. If the village receives a positive recommendation from SOCPA, a public hearing will be scheduled to receive community input.
Should the project move forward, other details regarding the project, such as landscaping, curb cuts, parking, lighting, etc. will be reviewed by the village planning board.
Village brush pickup
The Baldwinsville Department of Public Works will pick up summer and leaf brush from residents’ properties the first and third full week of the summer months.
