Phase 4 of the drainage and road improvements for Seneca Knolls will go to bid at 10 a.m. July 1 at the Van Buren Town Hall. According to Van Buren Engineer Jason Hoy, phase 4 includes roadside drainage from Rufus Circle to Leopold Boulevard in upper Seneca Knolls.
In related news, Supervisor Claude Sykes said the town may receive a possible Community Development grant in the amount of $100,000, of which the town is responsible for contributing $25,000, for Seneca Knolls drainage work.

A public hearing regarding a zone classification change from AR-80 to AR-40 in the areas of Canton Street, Connors, Ellsworth and East Sorrell Hill roads will be held at 7:32 p.m. Tuesday June 15 at the Van Buren Town Hall, corner of Van Buren and Ellsworth roads. This hearing will be a follow-up to a public hearing held May 18.
