Kate Benware of Baldwinsville will sing in the children’s chorus and also portray a troll and an angel in Syracuse Opera’s upcoming production of “Hansel & Gretel.” Benware is one of many students from 10 different school performing in the production.
Syracuse Opera’s production of Humperdinck’s “Hansel & Gretel” will be presented in the Crouse-Hinds Theater of the John H. Mulroy Civic Center at 8 p.m. Friday April 23 and at 2 p.m. Sunday April 25. Ticket prices start at $18 and can be purchased by calling 476-7372 or online at syracuseopera.com.
