CXtec and TERACAI came together to grant Ari, a 6-year-old boy from Syracuse, his wish for a Walt Disney World vacation in Florida through the Adopt-A-Wish program of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York.
Ari suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a fast-growing cancer of the white blood cells. CXtec and TERACAI will celebrate Ari and his wish by hosting a pirate-themed party in honor of Ari’s love for Pirates of the Caribbean.
This is the third wish that CXtec has granted and the first time that TERACAI has partnered with Adopt-A-Wish, a program that allows donors to fund the entire cost of a child’s wish.
Bill Pomeroy, Founder & CEO of CXtec and TERACAI, established The William G. Pomeroy Foundation after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of Leukemia. Bill received a stem cell transplant in May 2005. One of the foundation’s main initiatives is to help diversify the national bone marrow registry so all patients who need a bone marrow transplant have the same chance of receiving the gift of life.
