Jennifer Kilpatrick is the newest member of the Baldwinsville Police Department.
A Central New York native, Kilpatrick earned her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree from LeMoyne College. She worked as a school teacher prior to pursuing a career in law enforcement.
“We feel [Kilpatrick] is going to be an excellent addition to our team,” said Police Chief Michael Lefancheck.
Appointed Thursday Jan. 21 during the village board meeting, Kilpatrick began training in the Police Academy Monday.
“We have an exceptional police department,” Mayor Joseph Saraceni said to Kilpatrick during her appointment ceremony. “You’re joining a fine team.”
