Hancock & Estabrook, LLP is pleased to announce that Marion Hancock Fish has been sworn in as President of the Onondaga County Bar Association for 2010. Hancock Fish is the third Hancock to hold the position. Her great-grandfather, Theodore E. Hancock, served as Bar President from 1903-1909 and her grandfather, Stewart F. Hancock, Sr., was President in 1946.
Hancock Fish represents clients in matters involving estate planning and administration, family business succession, asset preservation, charitable giving and not-for-profit corporations. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Central New York.
Hancock Fish chairs the board of Visiting Nurses Association Foundation, Inc. and is past chair of the boards of CNY Community Foundation and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry Foundation, Inc. She is a former adjunct professor at Syracuse University College of Law and participates in the Thursday Morning Roundtable of University College.
Hancock Fish is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and Wesleyan University.
