Cameras coming
The Baldwinsville Police Department has applied for a $30,000 grant that would fund installation of a camera system to monitor village trails as well as Mercer Park. The grant is for several cameras with panning abilities, which will help protect park amenities and discourage vandalism such as graffiti in various areas. Police Chief Michael Lefanchek said he “feel[s] confident [the village] will receive the funding.
