Let your old music be new music to the ears and hearts of those in need of healing this holiday season. Donate new or gently used CDs and portable CD players to Music Heals CNY, which will in turn distribute donations to hospitals and health care facilities in hopes of building CD libraries for patients to check music out. Artists looking to widen their audience can donate and help others at the same time.
Through Jan. 2, C&G Music will collect your CD donations for the drive. The music store is located at 52 Oswego St. in the village of Baldwinsville.
