The town of Marcellus has been selected as one of 12 towns in Onondaga County to use the new optical scan paper ballot voting machines for the upcoming November 2009 elections.
To help prepare voters, the town of Marcellus will have the new machine available for demonstrations from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4 at Town Hall, 24 E. Main St. in Marcellus. Residents will be able to stop in and try out the new machine to help ease the voting process on election day.
For more information about using the new voting machine, call 673-3269 or stop by Town Hall.
See next week’s Eagle Observer for more details.
