Sugar & Spice Party Planners and the Red Mill Inn will host a mother and daughter slumber party Friday March 20.

A sparkling grape juice and cheese reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. during check in followed by mother and daughter challenge games from 7 to 8 p.m. in the event room. At 8 p.m., moms/adults will gather upstairs to bottle a special wine commemorating the occasion with the folks from Il Bello Vino while the girls stuff their own animal to bring home. Then it’s into pajamas for the pajama fashion show. Prizes will be awarded after participants walk the “red carpet.”
Sleepy little ones can enjoy a story, milk and cookies then it’s off to bed. Everyone else will meet for a fun classic mother-daughter movie complete with popcorn and candy. That’s not it, though. In the morning, participants will enjoy a continental breakfast and facial at Sugar & Spice Party Planners across the street. A keepsake photo will also be provided with a frame to decorate.
Make reservations soon before this event sells out. Cost is $149 per couple, and $50 each additional person per room (maximum four).
