Both the Oneida and Vernon-Verona-Sherrill boys volleyball team sought wins as the schedule got a bit more crowded.

As this was going on, VVS was meeting Living Word Academy, splitting the first two games before the Lions took over in the late going to beat the Red Devils 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 25-8.
Tyler Curtis and Rob Sweet each had five kills, while Nick Altmann added three kills. Luke Voelker had 13 assists. Living Word setter Eathan Irish had 39 assists as Dave Masser (16 kills), Deng Guy (12 kills) and Isaac Virag (11 kills) worked on the front line.
In an impressive effort the night before, the Oneida girls volleyball team took on Carthage and pulled off a three-game sweep, beating the Comets 25-12, 25-19, 25-16.
Shannon Dowling set the tone with 13 assists, adding five aces. Up front, Rachel Kline produced eight kills, while Clare Henry earned four kills.
