Mohawk Valley Community College will host dozens of potential employers during its 2008 job fair, slated for the Utica Campus Tuesday April 15.
The fair is an opportunity for job seekers to meet prospective employers and gather information on the local labor market, including what type of jobs are available, qualifications needed, salary ranges and much more.
The fair is open to the public, and it is recommended interested applicants bring copies of their resumes; it will be held in the lobby of the Information Technology Building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Companies taking part in this year’s job fair include APAC Customer Service, Atlantic Testing Labs, Bank of New York, Central New York DSO, Cold Point Corporation, Columbia Place Associates, Crouse Hospital, Delta Lake State Park, Entergy Services Inc., Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, First Choice Staffing, Human Technologies Corp., I-Commerce Unlimited, Kaman Industrial Technologies, Kelly Services, Lear Siegler Services Inc., Lutheran Care Ministries, New York ISO, Oneida County Department of Personnel, Pravalere Life Sciences Inc., Presbyterian Homes and Services, Resource Center for Independent Living, Special Metals Corporation, Staffworks, Strong Memorial Hospital, The ARC, The Hartford Insurance, Thew Associates PLLC, Turning Stone Resort & Casino, Upstate Cerebral Palsy, U.S. Army Healthcare and the U.S. Marines.
