Stingers Pizza Pub announces new general manager

Stingers Pizza Pub in Manlius is happy to announce the promotion of Dave Shield to the position of general manager.

Shield is a life-long resident of Manlius and a graduate of F-M High School where he was a valuable member of the F-M lacrosse team.

He attended SUNY Brockport majoring in physics.

Shield has been in the restaurant industry for over 10 years.

Co-owners Jack Cushman and Ann Ammann-Raynor recognized Stingers as a “hidden gem” in the F-M, Pompey and Cazenovia communities but needed a more family-friendly focus.

Shield has exhibited the sincere desire to help bring this vision into reality.

“I am super excited to be the general manager, and my team is thrilled to make Stingers a truly fun family-oriented restaurant,” Shield said. “It will always be a ‘gem’ but my desire is to make sure it is not ‘hidden’ any longer.”

The restaurant invites all of its loyal guests to join in congratulating Shield on his promotion.
