Having ended Liverpool’s 20-match win streak on Dec. 12, the Baldwinsville girls bowling team continued to deliver impressive victories in the wake of that landmark.
That included a Dec. 14 match with traditional power East Syracuse Minoa at Bowl-Mor Lanes where the Bees put together a 3-0 shutout of the Spartans.
Brooke Flask led B’ville with a 220 high game and 591 series. Hannah Pinard and Julia Spiech both had 191 games as Pinard got a 516 series and Spiech a 513 set.
Amelia Ponto (488 series) and Taylor Savage (468 series) were close behind as, for ESM, America Carhart had the best three-game total of 548, though none of her teammates got close to that mark.
A close boys match saw B’ville take out ESM 2-1 with Tanner Rozycko shooting a 268 game on his way to a 705 series ahead of the 637 series by the Spartans’ Sean Timmons.
Dylan Williams had a 604 series and 232 high game, with Dylan Love adding a 603 series and 225 high game. David Hildreth’s 237 game led to a 574 set as Dawson Bigtree managed a 583 series and high game of 229.
Back at B’ville Sports Bowl last Monday, the Bees swept Central Square, the 3-0 decision on the girls side featuring Pinard, whose 239 game was part of a 606 series as Flask had a 554 series (194 high game) and Ponto’s 548 series featured a 193 game.
It was also a 3-0 victory on the boys end by B’ville over the Redhawks as Rozycko got close to perfection in his 278 game of 10 strikes, and had a season-best series of 755 as Love set a season mark with a 253 game in his 648 series. Williams added a 578 series, with a top game of 224.
The Bees then swept Syracuse in a pair of 3-0 matches on Wednesday, Rozycko again on fire as he shot a 264 game during a 668 series. Savage shot a 176 game for the B’ville girls as Flask contributed a 162 game.
