The Picture Man-the photographs of Milton Rogovin, one of 20th century’s foremost social documentary photographers. Photographs and poetry from Nottingham High School, Phoenix Middle and High Schools students. 7-9pm Poetry Night featuring poems written about Milton’s photographs and read by student authors from Nottingham High School, Emerson J. Dillon Middle School and John C. Birdlebough High School.

A dramaturgical display about Louisa Mae Alcott’s uncle, Samuel May who was a local preacher and abolitionist. Includes artifacts and documents of the period, in collaboration with Onondaga Historical Association. In conjunction with “Little Women,” Th3 visitors will be able to glimpse final rehersals of the show. Light refreshments.

An exhibition titled Luminous Construction: The Photography of Howard Bond is now open for viewing on the sixth floor of E. S. Bird Library. On display are selections from the formalist

photographer Howard Bond’s 22 portfolios, containing dramatic landscapes and abstract close-ups taken during his trips to ten different countries between 1974 and 2005.
