AUBURN — The Albany Symphony Quintet and the Harriet Tubman Home, Inc. invite the public to a free outdoor concert at the home of pioneering abolitionist Harriet Tubman on Thursday, June 29 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The brass quintet will play a 90-minute program featuring classical and contemporary works from a diverse range of styles and composers.
The concert is part of the 2023 American Music Festival: Convergence, which focuses on meaningful community-building through the exploration and celebration of various Black artistic disciplines. This is the first of five free outdoor performances by the Albany Symphony across Upstate New York in June and July.
