If you’re a fan of handwork, you can join the Pulling Threads crew at 10 a.m. Wednesday March 16 to share your love of needlepoint, knitting or crochet or the In Stitches group and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23.
Card lovers are invited to craft beautiful greetings with the help of Missy Shipman at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, or 10 a.m. Friday, March 11. Registration and a $15 materials fee are required for this group.
Not ready for a serious hobby but looking for a relaxing artistic experience? Join Nancy Howe at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 17, for the B’ville Coloring Club to discover the joys of adult coloring. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and snacks provided. Find out why millions of adults are reclaiming this childhood joy.
Last but hardly least, celebrate spring and the Easter season by learning how to decorate Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs). Local artists Ana Perun and Manda Brezicky will show you how to decorate eggs using folk designs and the wax resist method. This program requires patience and a steady hand so it is recommended for ages 12 and up and registration is required.
