Morrisville — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County 4-H program will offer a daylong program for teens ages 13 to 19 in Central New York from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at the Cooperative Extension Office, 100 Eaton St., Morrisville.
Dr. Janelle A. Schwartz, General Director, Adirondack Program (Hamilton College) will start Teen Winter Survival Day with an interactive discussion about the “Three Seasons of Winter.” After lunch, there will be an opportunity to go ice skating or attend a mini spa workshop. After this session, Sarah K. Greco will lead a practice in taking care of yourself from the inside with yoga. The day will end with a cooking demonstration by Natalie Catania, MSC dietetic technician student.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The program is $10 per person and includes lunch. It is not necessary to be a 4-H member to participate. Registration is available online at reg.cce.cornell.edu/TeenWinterSurvivalDay_225.
