VILLAGE OF BALDWINSVILLE – New Hope Church is hosting a double book signing event on Saturday, May 6 from noon to 2 p.m.
Local authors Ron Bunal and Debbie Grimshaw will have books available, or you can bring your own copy for them to sign.
New Hope Church is located at 7587 State Fair Blvd. in Baldwinsville.
What child doesn’t enjoy a good bedtime story? Nearly every night Bunal and his wife read to their children when they were growing up.
Today, bookshelves and e-readers are filled with many fantastic Bible storybooks for children of all ages.
In his book “Calming the Storm,” Bunal takes his readers to the Mediterranean island of Malta in the first century, where Marcus, a boy struggling with anger issues, meets a shipwrecked apostle of Jesus. Paul’s message offers Marcus new hope.
Bunal lives in Central New York with his wife, Rachel.
He enjoys fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. His get-to-the-point writing style comes from thirty years of working in information technology. Bunal offers free children’s stories on his website: RonBunal.com.
In her book “Indelible Impression,” Grimshaw tells the story of ER nurse Elizabeth Barclay, who bolts mid-shift and ends up seeking solace in a graveyard. Elizabeth is captivated by cemetery caretaker Kenneth Greyson’s sage advice and longs to absorb the peace that this “Guardian of the Markers” radiates. An indelible impression is unforgettable, a permanent imprint, and as Kenneth Greyson tells Elizabeth, “You, my dear, have made many indelible impressions.” But Oakwood Cemetery has a long-buried mystery of its own.
Grimshaw is a writer and speaker who raised her family in Central New York. She speaks and writes about what touches her heart. Her inspirational writings and photography can be found at RedefiningDebbie.com.
