Stone Quarry Hill Art Park’s Annual Member Exhibition is scheduled for September and this year will include works submitted by member artists on a newly designated “Open Drop Off Day.”
“Art Park members play a critical role in cultivating, sustaining, and growing the arts in our community,” said interim Executive Director Kelli Johnson. “The annual members show is an opportunity to showcase the talent of the Art Park’s membership in the unique setting of the John and Virginia Winner Memorial Gallery.”
Sarah Tietje-Mietz, visitor service and site promotion coordinator adds, “While artists can still submit works for consideration via our website, we have added the Open Drop Off Day to ease the application process for our local member artists. The title for this year’s exhibition is ‘Forest for the Trees,’ a continuation of our tree-related theme for the 2018 season.”
Open Drop Off Day will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 3 at the Park Office. Artists must be a current member of the Art Park to participate. Artists who are not currently members must purchase a membership on or before August 3.
