The Liverpool Class of 1979 reunion committee recently announced it will hold its 40th class reunion the week of Aug. 9 to 11 with several special events planned over the course of several days.
The festivities will begin Friday, Aug. 9 with a casual gathering at the Home Team Pub from 6 to 11 p.m. with pass-around food and drink specials. A DJ and photo booth will be on the premise.
Saturday, Aug. 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. the gathering will take place at Johnson Park with a concert in the park. The opening band will be Sammy-nominated band All Poets and Heroes with headliner and multiple Sammy Awards-winning band, local legends The Todd Hobin Band immediately after at 5 p.m.
The Cobblestone will also have light fare and drink specials.
