Silent auction includes guitars signed by Jon Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp
The Fayetteville-Manlius Rely for Life is gearing up for another year of fundraising for the American Cancer Society, and one of the events leading up to the main relay day includes a fundraising dinner at the Empire Farm Brewery in Cazenovia on April 5.
The event will bring a night full of lives music, food, drinks and two very special silent auction items that were donated to the group — one guitar signed by Jon Bon Jovi and another by John Mellencamp, said Ben Gnacik, Relay for Life advisor.
The event begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. Tickets for the event are $60 per person, and include dinner, two drinks, a brewery tour and live music by Zero Point Zero. In addition to the two guitars signed by rock artists, an iPad will also be auctioned.
All proceeds from the night will benefit the American Cancer Society and will go toward the fundraising goal of the FM Relay for Life, which will be held on Saturday, May 13.
Over the past three years, the FM Relay for Life has raised more than $200,000 for the ACS. For more information about the FM Relay for Life, go to relayforlife.org/fayettevillemanliusny.
