The FM Neighbors will be hosting a “Lunch, Coffee and Canvas” fundraising event for the F-M Community Outreach Food Pantry on Saturday, May 21, and all are invited to attend.
The event will begin with a lunch buffet at 1 p.m. at the Manlius Recreation Center, 6 Stickley Drive, behind the Manlius fire station. At 2 p.m., an artist from “Sip of Color” will guide attendees through a painting of “Beach Bliss.”
Tickets are $35 and include the lunch, a canvas and the painting lesson. Ages 12 and older are welcome. Canvas size is 16×20, but you may request a smaller size for the same price. Abundant parking is available across the street.
Non-painters are also welcome. The price for just lunch is $15.
The buffet, silent auction, 50/50 and other raffles will be in a room next to the painters. Subway owner Cathy Wood and Panera Bread are donating sandwiches. F-M Community Outreach volunteers are baking cookies for dessert. Soft drinks, water and coffee are provided.
The silent auction will be held until 4 p.m., with items from local businesses, such as The Wine House, Wild Orchid, Manlius Jewelry, Lonsdale Hair Salon, Pet Expressions, Dazzle and many more.
