LIVERPOOL – One more time, the Cicero-North Syracuse and Liverpool girls track and field teams battled each other head-to-head as part of Tuesday’s Section III Class AA championship meet at LHS Stadium.
The Northstars, led by sophomore stars Hannah Boyle and Kate Putman, earned 107 points, while the Warriors got 84 points.

In the 4×400, Boyle, Newton, McKenna Slate and Hannah Reichard were second in 4:20.30, with Liverpool’s quartet of Woodworth, Jarosz, Burt and Sophie Hoy third in 4:21.92.

Moenae Washington finished third in the 200-meter dash in 27.57 seconds, with Stephanie Webb third in the discus as she threw it 89’1”. Morgan Hayes finished sixth in the long jump with 14’6 1/2”.
